I. A. Miller Gospel Choir
Gospel Music or the gospel in songs has always been a very popular way of expressing religious fervor since the year 1930. In 1939, in order to assist in the spiritual influence of our church, the Gospel Choir of Ward Memorial A.M.E. Church was formed. In 1963, the choir was reorganized under the pastorate of Rev. Isaac Alfonso Miller; thus becoming known as the I. A. Miller Gospel Choir. Mr. Eugene Evans became the director and organist in the early 1980's.
The choir serves regularly at the 8:00 am services on the first, third and fourth Sundays of each month. We are growing in Christ and invite others to join us as we sing praises to the Lord.
